Playing Housewife

Today was my first day being completely free of obligation - no school, no work, no nothing! It was so freeing, yet felt so weird at the same time. I've had a job guaranteed to me over the summer for the last few years, so not having a job lined up right now feels sort of weird. I do have some leads at the moment so I know I will have a job soon, which is reassuring. With Cale at work today I got the chance to play housewife - doing the dishes, watching soaps & game shows, knitting and running errands - and it was great. I've been really neglecting housework lately, so I'm  excited to having time to sort through and organize things, cleaning as necessary. It's a lot of work, but the payoff will be so worth it (namely unearthing my blocking/sewing table!). Happy summer, everyone!

  7. Very nice outfit! That skirt is really cute. I know what you mean about not having a job lined up. I've always had a job lined up after school ended for me. Now that I am graduating, I'm trying hard to find a full-time job.
